General description:

• Al Rimal Gated Community is a very high quality, self-contained, residential complex on a land area of a roofed area of 231,000m2 on a parcel measuring 600,000m².
• The residential units consist of 428 villas, and 854 apartments as well as serviced apartments.

The project also included:

• Recreational facilities including swimming pools, water features and sports facilities.
• Amenities including shops and restaurant facilities, children’s play areas etc
• Security facilities and security walling.
• Full supporting infrastructure including maintenance facilities, telecommunication, water and wastewater treatment plant and distribution, roads and parking for 3000 cars, landscaping and irrigation etc.

Saudico Responsibilities under the Project included:

• Development of Employer’s design and preparation of all shop drawings for architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Design and construction of a precast option for apartments and villas.
• Bulk earthworks.
• Telecommunication System including Internet, IP TV, IP Telephony, IP Fire Alarm, IP CCTV.
